Edinburgh is hosting the 2009 International Conference on the History of Freemasonry(ICHF) on 29-31 May in Freemasons Hall.
2009 is a very special year for Scotland and Scottish Freemasonry as it is the 250th Anniversary of the birth of the National Bard and Freemason - Robert Burns (1759 - 1796). For this reason ICHF will be held in Edinburgh for a second successive occasion before movingon in 2011 to Alexandria, Virginia
It is important to bear in mind that this is an International Conference on the History of Freemasonry. It is not a Masonic Conference (that is one where Freemasons gather to discuss Freemasonry in their own way). Members of the public have already made bookings.
The registration fee is £250 for three days which includes:
- Attendance at all Scientific Sessions from 29th - 31th May 2009
- Attendance at the Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception
- Tea/Coffee and Lunch at official breaks
- Delegate Bag, Abstract Book and other assorted conference materials
- Delegate Badge
- Certificate of Attendance
- VAT
Full details can be obrtained from the ICHF website.
